7 Chakras

What is a Chakra? The 7 Chakras For Beginners

The entire universe is made up of energy, and your body is no exception. Chakras are energy centers within the human body that help to regulate all it’s functions. A chakra can affect both your physical and emotional well-being. There are seven chakras positioned throughout your body from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. All seven chakras have there own color and vibrational frequency and in order to feel our best they must be balanced with each other. When a person balances each chakra correctly then all of them work harmoniously to find the ultimate physical and emotional health.

What are Charka Affirmations?

Affirmations are positive statements which are to be repeated over and over again so they can be absorbed by the subconscious mind. It may seem like a simple process but our words hold a lot of power and how we use them can have a huge impact on our emotional and physical health. Our desires and goals are often held back because of our words and actions whether it is consciously and unconsciously done. If we can choose the right words to direct our mind and body towards positive action then there should not be a limit on what we can achieve. Affirmations require not only the “right words” but also repetition and timing. How long and how often we say our affirmations depends on how off balance our chakras are. In extreme cases it can take up to three weeks of repeating an affirmation to get the desired effect.

1st Root Base Chakra

The 1st chakra is called the root chakra and it starts at the base of our body. It is positioned right at the bottom of the pelvis and it is at the heart of the kundalini energy which is the center of our memory, space, and time. In Sanskrit it is called “Muladhara” or root chakra and it controls our reproductive organs and the hormones they produce. When this chakra is out of balance you may experience anxiety, sleep disorders, or nightmares. Also, eating disorders may be a sign of a root chakra imbalance.

How to heal your chakras?

Positive Affirmations
When you focus in on the power of positive affirmations you will find one of the most effective ways to balance your chakras. Our thoughts create our reality, and by regularly practising positive chakra balancing affirmations, we can achieve astonishing results in our lives. It is essential for one to understand that in order to evolve into a new and better version of yourself you need to first surrender to what the universe has planned. We use affirmations to help us achieve our goals but we can’t do that without healing what is preventing us from achieving them. If you program your emotions with affirmations, you get a higher chance to maintain balance in your life.

So how do we heal our bodies so we can properly focus our minds and fix the things that are broken? It is common knowledge that most diseases begin in the mind. A sick mind results in a sick body and vice versa. With the appropriate thoughts we can find ways to heal and fight the bad or negative thoughts. These are some of the affirmations that you can use to help you get more balanced. You might not notice the changes right away. Sometimes, it builds up slowly. When you start to notice the shifts in your physical self, it’s time to go further within.

Affirmations for the Mind
“What I feel is an important message to help me become more self-aware.”

“I love and approve of all aspects of myself... good and bad..”

“I choose to be happy and accept what comes my way as necessary in my personal journey.“

You will begin to feel better immediately once you give yourself over to restoring your mind. But what do you do to help your body when you suffer from a serious illness? It’s so easy to get caught up in the negative when we do not feel physically well. At some point, something negative is bound to happen and we have no choice but to deal with it. What is most important about having a bad day is to not let it control how you feel and to find gratitude in the things that are good. Although there are limitations to what our minds can do to heal diseases of the body we can control a lot with how we filter our negative thoughts.

Affirmations for the Body

“I am pain free in every respect and my body is full of energy.”

“Throughout the day I am complete and full of energy.”

“I love myself completely and I radiate great energy.”

Chakra Healing Rituals

Along with these affirmations, you can use rituals to help strengthen the balance in your life. Rituals are important not only to stay balanced but also for our emotional, spiritual, and mental health. That’s why it is a good idea to have some method of writing down what you are grateful for. This is often referred to as a gratitude journal. At the end of each day, make a habit of writing down all the things that you’re grateful for that day. And every day, make it a habit to read this journal and reflect on the positive, especially during the tough times. It will help you be more positive. It can also be a good way of carving out alone time which is very beneficial in healing negative energy.
Another great ritual that aids in healing is spending time in the company of friends. When we communicate with friends our energies intertwine and create an even stronger positive energy. Even connecting with a text message or phone call can produce positive energy. It could be as simple as connecting with the people you love. If you choose to go out with friends you could recite a few affirmations out loud and burn an affirmation stick before you go to ensure a good mind set. Bonding through social connections are one of the best ways to keep balanced. Humans are social creatures and social settings allow us to learn skills to help us live better lives.
We can also heal by appreciating something beautiful every day. It could be as by looking at beautiful art work or maybe you can simply go to the local park and take in the beauty of nature. Whatever it is that you find beautiful, immerse yourself in it and commit to it every day. Maybe take an affirmation stick with you and burn it outside to connect even further to the beauty around you? And as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if you find beauty in something less tradition then appreciate that. The point is to find something that makes you feel good and grateful for.
