In today’s chaotic, fast-paced, online, and perpetually harried society, a good night’s sleep is more important—and elusive—than ever.

Tipps for a relaxing sleep environment

  • use dark colors for your bedroom
  • make your bed daily
  • declutter your sleep space
  • invest in a comfortable mattress
  • keep your bedroom temperature low (between 60 and 67 degrees)
  • turn off electronic devices at least 30-45 minutes before bedtime and drink your Mama Wunderbar sleep and relax teas
  • don’t charge your phone next to your bed. Even better: Gently escort all devices completely out of your room
  • stop drinking coffee or non herbal teas after 2 p.m
  • take a hot relaxing bath with Epsom salts
  • wear pajamas, nightdresses, or even a special T-shirt—it’ll send a sleep-friendly message to your mind
  • use a weighted blanket
  • increase magnesium intake
Tipp: 
Showering at night raises your body temperature and then quickly drops it, and a lowered body temperature is one of your system's key indicators that it's time for sleep.
Include foods for dinner that contain melatonin such as oats, rice, ginger, tomatoes, bananas, almonds, sweet corn, and seeds. 
Cherry juice can also increase the natural levels of melatonin in the body, and may be an effective way to help you to fall asleep.
